We start by doing a free 15 minute consultation on the phone. This is a vibe check for both of us! I will take the lead and ask you questions and we can determine if I'm the right therapist for you. If not, that's okay! I will give you referrals to my extensive network of therapist connections. I work with couples and individuals facing a wide range of relationship challenges, including communication problems, conflict, trust issues, affair recovery, ADHD-related relationship stress, and other complex concerns. My approach is results-oriented and focused on giving you real strategies you can use.
I offer both in-person and online therapy. In-person is in St. Louis Park. For online therapy, I work with anyone located in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Online therapy, also called virtual therapy, is ideal for anyone who struggles to get into the office. Online therapy offers the same results as in-person therapy.
I have a beautiful office in St. Louis Park, Minnesota that I'm very proud of because I designed it myself with my office mate. I often get compliments from clients saying they instantly feel at peace when walking in. The address is 3387 Brownlow Avenue, St. Louis Park. It is right off Hwy 7 and Hwy 100.
I don't accept insurance directly. My practice is a fee-for-service model which means my clients pay me directly. Some of my clients choose to use their out-of-network benefits, if they have them, and receive reimbursement. You can do this either yourself, or I work with a service called Thrizer that will submit everything for you on your behalf for a small fee of about $5.00. You can pay for your service using cash, card, HSA or FSA card. Payment is due at the time of session. As of 2026, my current rates are $225 for couples and $175 for individuals.
I require a 48 business hour notice to cancel or the full session fee applies if appointments are cancelled within that time frame. This is because it is difficult to replace that previously held appointment slot in such a short amount of time. This policy is to help provide more stability for me so that I am better able to show up for my clients. As you can imagine, a stressed out therapist is probably not an ideal one. Thank you for your understanding and respect of this policy.
It depends on what you're trying to change. Individual therapy can be a great fit when you want to understand your own patterns, make decisions about your relationship, rebuild your sense of self, or work through relationship issues when your partner isn't participating. Couples therapy involves both partners and focuses on changing the patterns between you. If you're unsure which one you need, that's completely okay. Schedule a free consult call and we can figure that out together.
